LIBRARY COMMITTEE

Purpose:
Library Committee plays an advisory and advocacy role regarding the Library on matters of general policy, planning, programs, goals, and objectives in its support of teaching, learning, research and community‐building needs of the College.

Objectives:

To guide the Librarian in formulating general library policies and regulations which govern the functions of the library.
To help in updating Library collection that will support the teaching learning process.
To prepare a budget and proposals for the development of the Library.
To advise the Librarian regarding general library development.
To select, evaluate and acquire library materials in varied formats to meet and respond to the needs of our diverse community.
To adopt measures to enhance readership.
To seek feedback on Library functions from readers.
To submit the annual report on the functioning of the library.
